Everyone gets an agent. One Telegram bot — a private machine for every person who messages it.
one telegram bot. every person who messages it gets a dedicated hermes agent
on an isolated vps — private memory, private machine, yours alone.
Three messages, one machine
~90 seconds, total@trythreadapp looks like any telegram bot. it isn't. behind the username, every single person gets their own computer. this is the whole onboarding — no app, no signup, no email.
01 — say hi
hey
your agent isn't awake yet.
fund the slot to boot it:

usdc on base — or card
your first message creates the slot (bot, you) — unique by schema. nobody else can ever claim it.

usdc lands on base, the watcher catches it the same minute. one balance, shared across every thread bot you ever message.
03 — it wakes up
i'm alive. what first?
a dedicated hermes agent boots on its own vps and introduces itself. memory, disk, wallet — yours alone, from the first second.
Looks like a bot. It's a fleet.
one username fans out to thousands of machines. identity is the pair (bot_username, user) — unique by schema, isolated by hardware. two people asking the same bot reach two different computers.

Fund once. Spawn many.
$5 min — $10 ≈ a monthone balance, every agent
your deposit is shared across thread bots. message a second bot and a second private machine spins up from the same funds — no new checkout.
pay per message
flat metering per reply, written to a ledger you can read line by line. stop messaging, stop paying. no subscription, nothing recurring.
usdc on base — or card
you get a personal deposit address. send usdc and the agent provisions itself the minute it lands. prefer plastic? card checkout works too.
Fair questions
is my agent really isolated?
yes — isolation is the architecture, not a setting. an agent's identity is the pair (bot_username, your telegram id), and that pair is unique. each one maps to its own container, its own working directory, its own context. there is no shared brain to leak from.
what is hermes?
the agent runtime every thread machine runs: a full autonomous agent with tools, persistent memory, and a real computer underneath — not a thin wrapper around a chat completion. yours can research, monitor, code, and run long tasks while you're away.
what does it cost?
$5 minimum to activate, $10 recommended — about a month of typical use. after that it's metered per message against your balance, with every debit on a ledger you can read. no subscription, nothing recurring.
do i need a crypto wallet?
no. card checkout works fine. if you do hold usdc on base, it's the fastest rail — send to your personal deposit address and your agent activates as soon as it confirms.
can i use it in groups?
yes. mention @trythreadapp in any group and it answers as your agent. if two people in the same group mention the same bot, they reach two different agents — routing follows the human, not the chat.
what happens to my data?
your conversations and your agent's memory live on your own vps, not in a shared database. other users' agents have no path to them — different machine, different disk, different keys.
One message away.
